WELCOME! WE ARE DARRYL AND VICKI INGLIS

Who We Are

Together, we have been actively involved in the pet industry for over 20 years – sharing a love for all pets. Having previously owned and operated a successful pet boarding facility, we became acutely aware of the specific needs of our feline guests. We have endeavoured to provide, in our purpose-built cattery, a home away from home that is comforting, homey and safe.

With hygiene a high priority, all our rooms are designed to prevent the spread of disease and bacteria from cat to cat. All guests will be treated with the utmost respect and the gentlest of care deserving of any feline. Having loved and owned many cats ourselves, we have a heightened awareness of just how special your babies are to you.

As we live on-site, own and operate the facility ourselves, we will always be hands-on in the day-to-day running of the cattery and ensure your beloved pet is given all the kindness and care required to make their stay an enjoyable one.

We Care

At Whispurrs Cat Retreat, we are deeply committed to safeguarding your feline friend’s overall wellbeing. It is our highest priority to ensure your cat’s safety, happiness and health when you return.

Hygiene

To safeguard your cat from infectious disease and bacteria, we have solid walls between all our rooms. Cats can sneeze disease up to 1.3m, therefore our walkways are designed 1.5m apart. All rooms are treated with high-grade veterinary strength disinfectant.

We Live On-Site

We are always hands-on in the day-to-day running of the facility.

Cat Boarding Only

This is a cat-specific facility.

Vets On-Call

Our local vets are available 24 hours.

Range Of Accommodation Options to Suit All Budgets

To cater to all budgets, we offer a range of options from Economical Units and Hi-Rise Suites to Alfresco and Boutique rooms and The Presidential Suite.

Quality Balanced Diet

We use Royal Canin dry and wet foods as our basic dietary requirements unless instructed otherwise by owners.

Menu Options

While providing a balanced diet, we allow some indulgences from time to time, but only at the request of owners. See our breakfast menu and wine list.
